A Misguided Thought: Love and War (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798256026356)

Love isn't always gentle. Sometimes... it's a battlefield.

In A Misguided Thought: Love and War, Jaelyn D. Jordan delivers a raw, emotionally charged poetry collection that explores the complex realities of love, heartbreak, self-discovery, mental health, faith, and personal growth. This powerful book invites readers into the deeply personal and often unspoken battles that shape who we become when love changes us.

This is not just poetry.

This is reflection. This is confrontation. This is healing.

Through a series of gripping and vulnerable poems, Jordan captures the emotional highs and devastating lows of modern relationships-especially for those navigating young adulthood, identity, and purpose in their 20s and 30s. From passionate beginnings to painful endings, every piece reveals the internal war between holding on and letting go.

Within these pages, readers will explore themes of:

• Deep love and emotional vulnerability
• Heartbreak, betrayal, and toxic relationships
• Mental health struggles, anxiety, and depression
• Faith, spirituality, and inner healing
• Self-worth, empowerment, and personal transformation

Each poem acts as a mirror, reflecting the truths many experience but rarely express aloud. The collection moves seamlessly between intimate love poetry, introspective reflections, and powerful declarations of independence and growth.

If you've ever:

• Loved someone more than you loved yourself
• Stayed in a relationship longer than you should have
• Felt lost, broken, or unsure of your purpose
• Struggled to rebuild after heartbreak
• Questioned your faith, your identity, or your worth

Then this book will feel like it was written for you.

Jordan's voice is honest, unfiltered, and deeply relatable, giving readers permission to sit with their emotions, confront their pain, and ultimately find strength in their story.
