A New Horizon (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798240959134)

This story is a high-stakes space opera. It blends political intrigue with a deeply personal quest for identity and reconciliation. Brian Paternatas, a man shaped by the trauma of loss and the stigma of delinquency, finds himself in the heart of a military conspiracy.

Brian has earned status as a middle-ranking security officer with access to sensitive information. He has searched for years and found nothing about the disappearance of his MIA father...until the discovery of a conspiracy within the military. The problem is that the discovery could get him killed.

Enter Charis Eirene, his personal assistant, a job assigned to her by headquarters. She brings emotional baggage to work with her, that Brian stumbles on the very first day. She possesses discipline, determination, and devotion, not to the army, but to God, that even her superior's rank cannot overrule.

This story, full of adventure and intrigue, spans the spectrum of relationships. It moves from intimate (a son finding his father), to epic (saving three worlds from annihilation), to spiritual (having a supernatural vision), to a budding new relationship. Can a man who feels "not good enough" for the truth find the faith required to save multiple civilizations? He must deal with assassination attempts, near-death experiences, profound spiritual questions, and navigating the perils and joys of love for the first time.
