A Part Hate: Self Talk of a Suicidal Teen (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781729741306)

What can you say about a teenage girl who longed to die? That she was naively beautiful. Unknowingly brilliant. That she loved poetry and literature. And The Doors. That she was me. A Part Hate is a unique insider's memoir that unmasks the unspoken terror of depression. This collection of poetry, written over twenty years ago, reveals the painfully overwhelming and desperate thoughts of a severely depressed teenager on the verge of suicide, struggling to overcome intense inner turmoil in a world distracted by outer turmoil. Suicide is an international epidemic that needs to be spotlighted. Now is the time for the world to listen, to understand, and to see things from a different perspective. A Part Hate aims to shake the stigma by providing an authentic view from the ground that should not be ignored.
