Annemarie O'Hara (Nicola Annemarie Perera), resides in Sri lanka and has been writing fiction ever since she was a child. Her first manuscript was called Sarah's adventures however, since, she wished to pursue a career in freelance journalism, Annemarie did not submit the manuscript and would later on go on to write a novel based on family life which she titled, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, it was printed for private sale only as by then she was working and travelling, most of her growing up years were spent abroad and she went for primary schooling and holidays to Essex UK. Upon return to Sri Lanka, Annemarie worked at a National paper as a features freelance journalist and went on to work for UCAN News an international Christian website and also underwent a three month training at the Romford Recorder Essex. In her growing up years she would often have a notebook and pen with her to jot down ideas and characters for stories, as she would say ideas would come to light in the most unlikely places or moments and she would see life as an adventure that had to be completed. After her marriage failed and having spent most of time working from home to take care of her Autistic child, Annemarie decided to dedicate her energy into achieving her dream of becoming an accomplished author, being a single parent struggling to balance everything she began editing one of her manuscripts which had been kept in a small wooden box, she writes for her child and put her full effort into publishing her book despite several rejections. Under the pen name Annemarie O'Hara, her Novel, Sword of Krynne was first published for online sale by Lulu publishers (UK) in 2011. The second edition of this novel was published locally by Sarasavi publishers in December 2013, the novel has also been submitted for online sale to Amazon.com.
