Rebecca A. Baisden is an American poet. She was born and raised in the historic small town of Monongahela Pennsylvania into a close-knit family. She spent her formative years playing outdoors at her grandparents log cabin. She discovered her love of nature and joy of writing at a very young age. She was first published in an anthology published by the National Library of Poetry, titled Tears of Fire in 1994. She was also featured in an anthology titled Changing the World Through Poetry in 2015. She relocated to the Tennessee Valley area of Northern Alabama in 2014. She is an active Volunteer Firefighter, a conservation volunteer, and an amateur photographer. When she is not writing or volunteering she enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with her family and 3 chihuahuas near her home in Alabama.
