Lori Ann Hudson, is a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful children, Alawna Hillary, who was born full term and Kayden Montre', who was born at 23 weeks' gestation and weighed 1 pound - 4.5 ounces. Kayden was given a 20% chance of survival, but through Faith, Hope, Love and Prayers of family and friends, Kayden showed to be a true MIRACLE and fought to live. While in the NICU, Kayden was on a ventilator for about 10 weeks of his life, he had several blood transfusions, renal failure, an inguinal hernia, ROP (retinopathy of prematurity) and a Grade 3 brain bleed. After 125 days in the NICU, Kayden was discharged. Through the pain and personal journey of being a preemie mom, she wrote "A Precious Miracle," to encourage parents and also a way to express to the child that they are miracles and can do and achieve anything they put their minds too. Her goal is to inspire and uplift parents who are experiencing life's difficulties in and out of the NICU.
