Dawn Voorheis Hawks is a retired Christian and public school teacher who now directs the English as a Second Language program at her church and serves as a volunteer tutor at a local elementary school. Dawn and her husband Richard have four children, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. After retiring, Dawn and Richard moved to Cedar Park, Texas where they currently reside, but they spend their summers at an RV resort near Holland, Michigan.
