AniYa A. born Anne Laura Antenor in Brooklyn, NY is a daughter, a sister, a friend, a mentor, a small business owner, an author, poet as well as motivational speaker and has been writing since she can remember. Her mother first helped her with her writing at the tender age of three. Since then she has not been able to put down a pen. AniYa A. has worked in many areas in her life but the area she most enjoys is being able to express herself freely. She has traveled to many unique places in the world too, such as London, Paris, Vernayaz, Switzerland, Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, throughout many areas of Canada, Trinidad and Tobago! Her work and studies have also taken her to many cities throughout the United States, she recently returned to New York City and feels like she is finally where she needs to be. This young lady has accredited her achievements such as graduating high school at the tender age of 16 and graduating University at 21 to her beloved parents Marcus and Geralda Antenor. She also had a strong Grandmother who was her backbone. Her grandmother was always there to love and nurture her when times were rough, and Ms. A. as she is often called, tries to share the message that we all need to be closer with our elders in our communities because we do not know how long they will be apart of our lives. Ms. A. is a fighter and has a story that the world needs to hear and one day she knows she will have the chance to share it.
