Aaliyah (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798704362234)

"Let me go, Daddy!" Aaliyah Baker screamed, as Allen Baker held her as tightly as he possibly could. "Please let me go!!""Sweet sweet, I can't do that." Allen said, gently, tears filling his own eyes, knowing the extent to how hurt and angry his daughter was. "I'm so sorry."Stepping in between Aaliyah, her twin brother, Aiden, and Aaliyah's best guy friend, Ansel, Aaliyah's Mom, Amber, Aaliyah's older sister, Alicia, as well as Aaliyah's lifelong best girl friend, Andrea, blocked her away from the guys. Their eyes were filled with tears, too. After all, they knew how badly Aaliyah was hurting."My beautiful sweet-heart, please, please listen to me." Amber said, letting the tears fall. "I know that you are beyond hurt and angry right now, and you have every right to be. However, believe me that you don't want to beat those guys up.""Yes I do, Mommy, they hurt me." Aaliyah said, stopping flailing around, and started to breathe heavily as she gently fell back against Allen. "It's okay, honey, I've got you." Allen said, his voice breaking, as he held Aaliyah close. "I've got you.""Mommy, if I want to hurt them as bad as they hurt me, then how is it that I don't want to?"
