Diane Marunczak earned her bachelor's degree in child development and family relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Jim, live in Pennsylvania with their two daughters. Their oldest daughter was officially diagnosed with severe food allergies at around six months old, although there were suspicions well before that. It has been Diane's mission to do what she can to always make her daughter feel included and to ensure that her daughter be informed on what she needs to do daily to handle her allergies. Sending her off to school was a very difficult step because of the loss of control over her daughter's safety throughout the day.
