Incredibly, millions of African American women are losing their hair. What's even more remarkable about this finding is that it's the conditioned behavior (namely, the pursuit of straight hair) that's causing them to suffer their misfortune As I am well aware of the fact that any Black infatuation with having straight hair is a late phenomenon, I have little choice but to try to address this matter.
