Activate or Stagnate started as my behavior management, motivational component as a 1st year teacher of ESE students to empower and inspire them inspite of their significant cognitive deficits, low self-esteem and a multiplicity of emotional and intellectual disabilities to believe they're the captain of their ship in mind, body and spirit. I wrote daily personal empowerment journals and shared my own personal life experiences to quantify my theory that knowledge is power and the only limitations that exist are the ones we place upon ourselves.
