Steven has been writing for most of his life, starting with short story fiction and poetry in the 7th grade. He always seemed to be writing term papers in college, including his undergraduate and graduate theses. Throughout his professional career his writing was limited to technical and project-related reports for corporate management, Federal and State agencies and the public. Since his retirement in 2001 Steven has been writing for himself on a variety of subjects closer to home. He is a prolific writer and a published author, having previously published several other books. His first book, the first edition of "A Journal of Unresolved Grief," was published in February of 2013. Steven's second book, titled "A Journey Through Time - Discovering My Family History," was published in June 2014. This book describes the search for his ancestry, placing those ancestors in a historical context. Steven's third book was "Vietnam: The War that Never Ends" that was published in June 2015. His fourth book, an autobiography titled "The Story of Steve; Growing Up a Nerd in the Fifties and Sixties" was published in September 2015. His fifth book, the second edition of "A Journal of Unresolved Grief," was published in October 2015. His sixth book, "Living with Cats," was also published in 2015. His seventh book, "Eyewitness to Geology," was published in 2016. "After Armageddon" is his first try at writing fiction.
