Against Two Letters Of The Pelagians (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781161590289)

""Against Two Letters of the Pelagians"" is a theological treatise written by Saint Augustine of Hippo in the 5th century. The book is a response to two letters written by Pelagian theologians who challenged Augustine's teachings on original sin and grace. Augustine argues that humans are born with a sinful nature and cannot achieve salvation through their own efforts, but rather require the grace of God. He also refutes the Pelagian belief that humans can attain perfection in this life through their own free will. The book is considered an important work in the development of Christian theology and has influenced the teachings of many theologians and scholars throughout history.THIS 68 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: St. Augustin Anti-Pelagian Writings: Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers of the Christian Church V5, by Saint Augustin .
