Book 1: The Mystery Of The Trout Lake Monster
When the youngest architect in the world, nine-year-old Albert B. Squid, and his father Atticus, take on the job to design a house on Big Trout Lake in Canada, they might have bitten off more than they could chew. Things start to go terribly wrong for the architecture duo when tools and materials go missing, and design drawings are tampered with. The locals are sure it's the infamous Big Trout Lake Monster that's up to the dirty deeds; however, Albert becomes skeptical. With his trusty dog, Baji, at his side, Albert decides to use his skills of deductive reasoning to unravel the mystery surrounding the so-called Big Trout Lake Monster from thwarting the house project.
Albert B. Squid: The Architecture Kid, World Traveler & Mystery Unraveler Series
This mystery series follows the youngest architect in the world, nine-year-old Albert B. Squid, his dog Baji, and his father Atticus B. Squid as they travel the world designing houses for the rich and famous. But things don't always go as planned, as there is always someone or SOMETHING trying to thwart the build. Young Albert, who is not only a brilliant architect, but also a master at deductive reasoning, takes it upon himself to uncover who or WHAT is behind the events that are stopping them from getting the job done.
The stories in the series are inspired by the work of present-day Architect Adventurer, and author, Albert B. Squid (of the book series "Let's Design A House" fame.) when he was a young architecture prodigy in the early 1990s when kids knew what a rotary phone was. So one would think it might have been difficult for young Albert to solve mysteries without the highfalutin gadgets of today. Quite the contrary! Young Albert receives surprise gifts in each of the stories from his future self such as computer tablets, smartphones, and other modern technology much to the chagrin of the other characters in the stories who are embarrassed to ask what these things are.
So come along for the journey, breaking the time continuum, traveling the world, and unraveling the mysteries along with Albert B. Squid, his dog Baji, and his father Atticus on this most wondrous architectural (and mysterious) adventure.

Most authentic book compilation on the Oregon Trail I ever read. The way the diaries are brought to life from over 170 years ago is a remarkable achievement. Top book of year so far for me for today June 01, 2024 review Candice
This author is a breathe of fresh air in a world of lies and coverups. He brings ancient writings and new science to bring light to mankind. In this amazing work, the well known plato stories from antiquity are now put alongside this new discovery of tablets from beginning of time. This is the most complete explanation of Atlantis every brought to the public. Shame on the governments of Egypt and the world for hiding WHO BUILT THE PHYRAMIDS OF GIZA AND THE SPHINX. Once I read this book I knew why they hid this knowledge. They don't want a population to know how great the world used to be compared to know.
Randomly stumbled upon this book and I am shocked that I haven’t heard about it before. It’s hands down the best story I’ve read in years. People need to read this book. It needs to be turned into a book. This story is just plain awsome. M
This soulful book of personal poetry brought me into the past and into the present---and into my heart.
Read the first book and this 2nd one did not disappoint! Loved every chapter. More please!
