Alexandra F. Morris (Editing and Introduction), originally from South Salem, New York, is a PhD researcher in history and a Module Tutor at Teesside University, UK. Her doctoral research focuses on disability during the Hellenistic & Ptolemaic Periods in ancient Egypt and Greece. She also is interested in Ptolemaic Egypt, Alexander the Great and ancient Egyptian and Greek art, medicine, politics and religious practices. She has an MA in Museum Studies from New York University and an MA in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations (Egyptology) from the University of Pennsylvania. Her BA is in Archaeological Studies, Anthropology and Art History with minors in Classics and history from SUNY Potsdam. She has cerebral palsy and dyspraxia.
