Alone, Awakened and Alive (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789365543520)

She began with nothing but four pairs of clothes-and a fierce will to survive. When Smithaa arrived in Mumbai, life had stripped her of everything familiar and safe. With no financial support, no helping hands, and a heart heavy with uncertainty, she worked night shifts in call centres just to make ends meet. By day, she poured her energy into building a small business in promotional gifts-brick by brick, without a safety net. At the same time, she was fighting a silent war: a relentless 7-year-long battle for the custody of her children. No aid. No rest. No guarantees. Just the aching hope of a mother determined to reclaim what mattered most. Along the way, she wore many hats-working in renowned multinational companies, stepping into the bold world of entrepreneurship, and even rising to become the Chief Editor of a magazine. But behind every title and achievement was a woman searching for something more. Something deeper. That search eventually led her inward-towards the path of healing, self-discovery.
