Althea gazed into the waves as her voice grew tender. "Because they're Jesus' way of saying, 'Look again.' A parable is a truth wrapped in story. A kingdom mystery disguised as a farmer's seed, a shepherd's search, a merchant's pearl. They may seem simple but each one reveals a truth we must never forget."
Elliot flapped his wings. "So this trip is about uncovering treasure?"
"Yes," Althea said. "Parables are treasure maps. Each one leads us closer to God's heart. And Hawaii with its mountains, groves, oceans and orchards will help us show these lessons like never before."
Love did a mid-air spin. "Adventure, scripture, sunshine and snacks? Count me in!"
