The General Class license is the second step in the US Amateur Radio licensing process. This Amateur Radio General Class Licensing study guide prepares you for the mid-level FCC Amateur license examination in use between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2023. The General Class license exam has 35 questions drawn from a candidate question pool of over 400 questions. Steve's professional experience includes 23 years as a professor of Electrical Engineering at New Mexico State University and 12 years as an engineer for NASA, including four years as an RF spectrum manager.
