Later in life, most people lose touch with their early childhood friends. But Sean O'Sullivan is not most people. In fact, from the very beginning, his friends are characters who, like his very breath, are inextricable from every major event of his life.
Sean may not be perfect. From Catholic school mischief to teenage rite of passage adventures, he learns quickly that ups and downs are all part of the game. But he also comprehends that it was never really life's rewards and challenges that mattered all along -it was all the friendships that tied them together. And while some friends end up successful and even one in prison for a brief period, the lessons they taught were learned with little effort.
That's what life and friendship are all about. Part coming-of-age tale and part story of middle-class ascendance, American Professor is a novel about the friends that you make and the interactions with them that impact your life.
This tale of modern Americana is as classic as the themes it explores: friendship, love, and growth in the face of change. Join Sean and find out where his friendships lead. Because even those that feel lost might find out they never really were in the most unexpected ways.
