As I said in my first book, "An Angry Black Woman", I've been writing poetry for years and finally decided to share my blessings with the world. I am from a small community in SC called Alvin. Alvin is approximately forty-five minutes outside of The Holy City, Charleston. My experiences in life have been many and the struggles can sometimes be real.
