An Instructor's Journey: My 13 Teaching Positions in One Career (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798264992483)

An Instructor's Journey: My 13 Teaching Positions in One Career is an exploration of the many possible instructing jobs of a career educator. In his late 20s, Ken set his career ambitions on being an instructor but after many years in the field he found that he had a very limited view of the possible jobs in education. His only experience with formal education was limited to his days as a student in Canadian K-12 and university classrooms. Only mainstream jobs in public school, tutoring, or Early Childhood Education were posted. In his 30 years as an instructor he experienced many teaching positions that he never knew existed. These positions were accompanied with unique challenges and adventures described in this book.
This book is for you if you are interested in becoming an educator, if you are early in your career as an educator, and even if you are mid-career and you are looking for a change. If you are simply interested in reading about education not from a stuffy textbook but from the point of view of the personal experiences of an adventurous educator then this book is for you.
