An Unexpected Tenant (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781958175415)

Max Canes can see spirits-a gift he has spent years trying to ignore. He arrives in Immortal, CO, hoping to make one exception: a last conversation with his recently deceased grandfather. But his grandfather has already moved on, leaving Max alone in Immortal-burned out, autistic, and not sure what comes next.

Then he meets Sam-a warm, chaotic artist with ADHD who has somehow forgotten that she's dead. The moment she remembers, she blackmails Max into investigating her murder. Not for justice. She wants her husband, Robbie, to finally grieve and move on.

And somewhere between searching for a killer and befriending a grieving widower, Sam decides Max and Robbie are perfect for each other. Max disagrees-no matter how much his stomach flutters when he is around Robbie.

An Unexpected Tenant is the first book in the Immortal Mysteries series: a queer and neurodiverse cozy paranormal mystery about grief, reluctant gifts, and the people - living and dead - who won't let you disappear.

Featuring gay, bi, pan, autistic, and ADHD rep.
