This book explores and develops a new philosophical argument for the existence of God from metaphysics. In doing so, it connects debates in the field of contemporary metaphysics with that of analytic philosophy of religion.
Joshua R. Sijuwade is a Visiting Lecturer at the London School of Theology. He has published a number of journal articles on topics related to the existence of God, including 'Grounding and the Existence of God' and 'Modal Metaphysics and the Existence of God'; the problem of evil, notably 'The Problem of Suffering: The Exemplarist Theodicy'; classical theism, for instance, 'Divine Simplicity: The Aspectival Account'; and the Christian doctrines of the Trinity and Incarnation, with titles such as 'Monarchical Trinitarianism' and 'A Transformational Incarnation'. His general research interests fall into the areas of metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and analytic theology.
