Anima Rising (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798198819412)

Anima Rising is a visionary memoir told through dreams, symbols, and spiritual encounters. An intimate journey through madness, meaning, and the long road back to wholeness.

After a mental breakdown, author Luke DeSalvo watched his former life collapse. Creativity faded. Identity fractured. The future narrowed. But in the depths of that darkness, something unexpected began to speak: dreams. Not ordinary dreams, but vivid inner worlds filled with gods and demons, trials and transformations, lovers and guides. Writing them down became an act of survival, and eventually, an act of healing.

This book gathers the most powerful of those dreams, expanded into mystic narratives and paired with thoughtful reflection. Drawing on Jungian psychology, spiritual symbolism, and lived experience, Anima Rising shows both dream and interpretation. The term anima used as the divine feminine archetype that appears throughout as muse, protector, challenger, and beloved, guiding the author toward integration and self-acceptance.

Raw, surreal, and deeply human, this book challenges the stigma surrounding duality while offering a rare look at how meaning can be rebuilt from the inside out. It is a story of descent and recovery, of losing the world and learning how to inhabit it again.

For readers drawn to dreamwork, spirituality, psychology, and personal transformation, Anima Rising is a testament to one truth: even shattered minds can become whole again.
