Are We There Yet?: The Journey to a Dependent Relationship with God (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798559134482)

"Are we there yet?" If you have ever taken a trip with children, you have very likely heard this question. It is also possible that, at some point in your life, you have asked this question yourself. Traveling somewhere new invariably feels longer, especially if you are a passenger in the back seat. We can experience the same thing spiritually. Sometimes it can feel like we are in the back seat on the Christian journey. Arriving at the ultimate destination -a trusting, personal relationship with God-can feel like the longest road trip ever. Fortunately, there's a story in the Old Testament that parallels our journey with God: it is the story of the Israelites. In this book, Pastor Bill brings you along on a trip with the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt to freedom in the Promised Land. Through their experiences, you will learn valuable lessons toward understanding the journey to a dependent relationship with God.
