Melanie Vandenbrouck is Curator of Art, post-1800, Royal Museums Greenwich. She curated War Artists at Sea (2014) in the Queen s House, an exhibition of the National Maritime Museum s collection of art from the First and Second World Wars. Pieter van der Merwe is the General Editor and Greenwich Curator, Royal Museums Greenwich, and has published on various aspects of maritime history and art, and theatre history.
