I obtained my BA in theatre d馗or (fine arts) from Academy of Arts, Egypt in1995. After two successful diplomas in interior decorating from ICS Canada in 2004 and in supporting teaching and learning in schools from Sunderland College, the UK in 2013, Followed by MA in Design from the University of Sunderland, the UK in Nov. 2016. My MA research design focuses on using art therapy techniques through creative activities to support young children (e.g. special educational needs) and/or people to cope with their school life. My creative activities helped young children to keep their mind busy, encourage imagination, and express feelings as well as improve concentration, and encourage positive behaviour (e.g. self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-expression). I worked as a freelance artist as well as a designer over the past 20 years in many different countries such as Egypt, Canada, Japan and the UK. Also, I participated in some of national and international art workshops and exhibitions. It is worth mention that I have been travelling all over the world, and these experiences give me huge chances to get involved in different research and scholar activities and to share others in their cultural, which greatly impacted on my creative thinking ways. I have an extensive track record of international collaboration with the art industry and world-class academics and artists over the last 20 years. I received many prestigious awards and grants world-wide, including New Entrepreneur Scholarship (NES), North East Business& Innovation Centre, Sunderland, UK; The best Photographer Award (first place), Koryu Gallery, International Centre of Sendai, Japan; Merit Certificate, Toronto public health, Canada; Merit Certificate, Le Levant Exhibition of Fine Arts in Montr饌l, Canada; and Merit Certificate, Theatre Decor Festival, Cairo University, Egypt. Also, I have been involved in organising several exhibitions, including The Art Works Galleries, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK; Koryu Gallery, International Centre of Sendai, Japan; Le Levant Exhibition for Fine Arts, Montr饌l, Canada; and over 12 Exhibitions and Theatre D馗or Festival, Cairo, Egypt. I am also member of the Aurora Project Programme, Northumberland County Council, UK creative; Professional Visual Artists, Toronto, Canada; and Professional Artists, Egypt, International Association of Art, UNESCO.
