A young girl from a common village, Cherrie Bloom, gets captured by savage tribesmen known as the Asashins, notorious for their bloodthirstiness. NOTE: This story is written in a fantasy world, so no culture is directly involved. The Asashins resemble East Asian peoples (Japanese and Chinese in particular) by their culture and language, but the tribe is purely fictional.
