Asclepius: The Perfect Sermon of Hermetic Wisdom - An Ancient Egyptian Exploration of Divine Magic, Cosmology, and the Ultimate Destiny of the Soul (L (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781807924768)

In Asclepius, widely celebrated as "The Perfect Sermon," readers are invited into the inner sanctum of ancient Egyptian mysticism to sit at the feet of Hermes Trismegistus. This remarkable text is a cornerstone of Hermetic philosophy, offering a panoramic view of the universe and humanity's unique, elevated place within it. Unlike doctrines that view the material world as inherently evil, this ancient masterpiece presents a beautifully interconnected cosmos where the physical and spiritual realms are intimately bound, and where humanity serves as the crucial bridge between heaven and earth.

The narrative unfolds as a sacred initiation dialogue. Hermes imparts to his disciple Asclepius the startling revelation that the human being is a "great miracle"-a creature composed of earthly matter yet endowed with a divine, immortal mind. With this dual nature, humanity is tasked not only with tending to the earth but with ascending to the realm of the gods. The text delves into the highest forms of ancient spiritual science, including the awe-inspiring practice of "god-making," detailing how the ancient priests channeled divine cosmic energies into physical statues. Furthermore, the book delivers the legendary "Apocalypse of Asclepius," a poignant and chilling prophecy describing a future age when the gods will abandon Egypt, the sacred temples will fall into ruin, and the world will plunge into chaos before undergoing a final, cleansing renewal by the Supreme Creator.

Blending theology, cosmology, and profound philosophical inquiry, Asclepius challenges you to awaken your own divine potential and recognize the sacredness of the universe.
