Joshi is an associate professor in the College of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the author of New Roots in America's Sacred Ground: Religion, Race, and Ethnicity in Indian America. Jigna Desai is an associate professor of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies and Asian American Studies at the University of Minnesota.
