Astral Shadows (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798997898144)

Aleta has the rare ability to take the sha and see the spiritual [sha] world, but working as a detective for the Interstellar Agency's secret program for seers isn't what she thought it was going to be. It's mostly paperwork. So she abuses the sha, addicted to the colorful entities of emotion and watching the life-force of the planets swirl around her. But when a decorated agent is murdered and the prime suspect is a fellow seer, Aleta sets out to track the killer through the sha.

Thrust undercover on Jarba, a planet ruled by aristocratic drug lords, where the Agency will not save her if she's discovered. She's forced to work with a man she never wanted to see again in order to solve the case, and to make things worse, a drug prince is developing a dangerous obsession with her. But can she solve the case before the darkness corrupting the sha realm destroys her sanity and everything she loves?
