Shadows lengthen. Time is still. Limbs write a message on the parchment of the day. We long to read it, to know it. We are tired. We seek the peace... A voice is heard. It is familiar, calm, and true; small as a falling leaf, yet thunderous, like a gale. It makes us remember we belong, and are loved and forgiven; that, no matter what happens, we are persons created to know love. The voice we hear is God's, speaking peace and healing through the trees... at end of day. This book contains poems and photographs that can calm our spirits so that we may hear God's voice.

He was chosen by the American Academy of Neurology as the 2008 Donald M. Palatucci Advocate of the Year. Additionally he is passionate about promoting self-preservation and dignity for all persons with cognitive impairment.
