Shannon Westra Imbery is a design enthusiast, freelance graphic artist, and dance teacher who has a love for creativity and children. The Monthly Adventures of Mollison series began as a gift for her children about the family's two West Highland Terriers, Madison and Molly. The name was created by the children when they were very young and collectively referred to both dogs at once. Imbery lives in northern South Dakota with her husband Todd, teenage daughters Gabrielle and Grace, and son Gray.
