Avatar Meher Baba's First Visit to the West (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9798234136770)

This book details the very first visit to the West by Avatar Meher Baba in 1931, the first of twelve other visits spanning three decades, the last visit being in 1958. Although, he had done extensive trips throughout British India, Ceylon, Iran and the Persian Gulf starting in 1921, those trips do not feature in these visits.

Much of this trip had some prior publicity, but often he traveled incognito. The book shows where Meher Baba went on his first visit to the West, detailing his itinerary and who he met along the way. It also mentions some of the conversations with certain individuals. By using mostly period maps, an effort was made to show each part of this extensive journey, including the different routes taken and the whereabouts of the many houses and venues that he visited, especially in the large cosmopolitan cities. Their markers are especially for the outsiders and foreign visitors not accustomed with these places. We are very confident with the accuracy of the details, so future visitors can fulfill their visitations.

In the coming months and years, we're hoping to complete the remaining visits to the West by bringing some clarity of the advent of Avatar Meher Baba.
