Austen Crowder found her zeal for writing while playing hooky from an eighth grade English class and hasn't looked back since. Her work has been featured in the short story anthologies "Alone in the Dark" and "Different Worlds, Different Skins," and she is a regular contributor to The Bilerico Project, an LGBTQ political blog.
