Bask (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798341343870)

August Bask is set on becoming one of the greatest composers to ever live. But he is not the only one with this aspiration. August enters into a rivalry that will change his life and the world of music forever. There are certain things one must sacrifice to achieve the life of a musical genius. August does his best to recount the events of his life that led him to heights no one could have ever predicted. Sometimes the obsessive pursuit of perfection is not worth it.

Set in Canada in the 1800s and written in autobiographical style, Bask tells the story of a boy genius who was thrust into fame and robbed of his childhood. There are many prices that must be paid when walking the path of fame. August is neither ready nor willing to pay all of them. But pay them he must.
