Battles to Beacons (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781969508486)

LIFE IS FILLED WITH TRIALS

We all go through them, sometimes one right after the other. How we choose to walk through those trials can make all the difference.

What if your hardest trial is meant to be a powerful testimony? What if your hardest battle is meant to become your brightest beacon to give others hope?

Battles to Beacons is the story of struggle, redemption, and a calling to give others hope and to protect the innocent. Art Salvagno Sr. shares his journey from growing up through hard times in South Philadelphia, to decades in law enforcement-with some of the most challenging years in special victims investigations. His own trials became a powerful testimony, leading to a renewed life of faith, worship, and nonprofit leadership, with the founding of Battle4Children Charities, a mission dedicated to protecting children and giving a voice to the voiceless.

Through vulnerable stories, each chapter of this book will inspire you and provide you with a guided Bible study strengthening you to stand in the fight so that your trial can become a testimony. It's time to turn your battles into beacons, to give hope to others.

YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER. YOUR PAIN IS NOT WASTED.

Art Salvagno Sr. is a veteran law enforcement officer, child advocate, speaker, and Christian musician with more than thirty-five years of service, including work at both the federal level and with the Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victims Unit. Having spent fourteen years investigating child sexual abuse cases, Art has witnessed the depths of human brokenness-and the power of restoration. Today, he is the founder of Battle4Children Charities and continues to mentor and guide youth and families as a counselor and lab technician. Through his podcast, music ministry, and speaking, he shares a message of faith, healing, and hope in Jesus Christ.
