Jill Hicks was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Lewes, Delaware, with her husband, Bill. Together they have two daughters. Tragically, they lost their firstborn, Jamie, in an automobile accident when she was just twenty. Jamie is survived by her younger sister, Jessie, and her half-sister, Jenn. Jill is very close to her extended family. She draws on her personal experiences and the stories of others to express the joys and sorrows of life and love. Jill is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Music Education. In her spare time she enjoys to reading, playing piano, cycling, sailing, boating, and spending quality beach time her family and friends.
