Be a Prophet: Speaking Truth to a Church in Crisis (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798270811389)

Every Christian is called to speak truth with love-but how?

In Be the Prophet: Speaking Truth to a Church in Crisis, Lee R. Clayton unveils the often-overlooked prophetic dimension of the baptismal vocation. Drawing from Scripture, St. Thomas Aquinas, and the Dominican tradition, this book rekindles the truth that every believer-not just clergy or mystics-is called to proclaim truth with courage and charity.

Readers will explore:

• How Baptism unites the priesthood and prophetic mission in every soul.
• The history of prophecy from Adam to Christ and its renewal in the Church today.
• The interior formation of a prophetic heart through prayer, study, silence, and courage.
• How the Holy Spirit empowers ordinary Christians to speak with extraordinary grace.
• Why silence in the face of falsehood betrays the call to charity.

Deeply theological yet pastorally accessible, Be the Prophet is both a rallying cry and a contemplative guide for a world hungering for truth. This book will challenge, inspire, and ignite those who seek to live their Baptism as a bold proclamation of Christ.
