We can do more than soothe our underlying tremors with a box of chocolate--we can Be Brave, Girl!
In an unstable world, it's easy to retreat to what feels safe and familiar. But God designed you to courageously embrace your unique gifting and calling. He helps you be brave as you face challenges. The question is, will you rise to the occasion?
Join Kimberly Shumate--author of the popular Look Up, Girl! women's devotional--on a journey for 100 days to find your courage in God. Through relatable stories and faithful Bible application, Kimberly offers daily encouragement for women and points them to the Word to find self-confidence, peace, strength for the weary, and closeness with God.
Be Brave, Girl! features a dusty purple soft faux leather cover with an elegant, heat-debossed line art design along the edges. The title is debossed with silver foil in a large, lowercase design, giving the book a young, feminine look. A coordinating ribbon marker and gilt-edged pages bring additional beauty to the devotional's design.
The two-color interior of this devotional includes fun floral designs throughout. Full-page, colorful Scripture and quote design pages offer extra encouragement between devotionals and journaling space. A bright presentation page at the front of the devotional makes it perfect for gifting.
This devotional is a great gift for any woman who might need an extra boost of encouragement. Gift Be Brave, Girl! along with its counterpart, Look Up, Girl!, as a birthday or Christmas present. Both books pair nicely together in both design and also in writing style.
Live in the truth that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Draw near to the one who makes you brave.
Kimberly Shumate has spent over 25 years in Christian book publishing, starting out as a receptionist in the sales department of Harvest House Publishers. In her spare time, Kimberly writes screenplays, some of which have placed in contests such as Nashville Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, BlueCat, and the Academy's Nicholl Fellowship. She currently resides in Eugene, Oregon, and finds inspiration in her morning devotions with her old friends Charles Spurgeon, F. B. Meyer, and Albert B. Simpson. She loves art, classical music, baking, and trips to the coast. Most of all, Kimberly's writing ministry provides her with a sense of purpose, bringing light to women struggling in the darkness of anxiety, worry, and depression.
