Before We Met: "The first time she met him, she died." (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798177811130)

The first time she met him, she died.

Sophie has never met Daniel Hart before.

So why does she know where he is going to sit?

Why does his laugh feel familiar?

And why, when he takes her to an old country house called Blackthorn, does Sophie know things about the building that nobody has told her?

Their first date should have been the beginning of something simple. Instead, it becomes the first crack in everything Sophie believes about memory, coincidence and the past.

Blackthorn House has its own secrets. More than a century earlier, a young woman named Eleanor died there after falling from an upstairs window. A photograph connects her to a man whose resemblance to Daniel is impossible to ignore.

Then Sophie begins discovering things that shouldn't exist.

Records that contradict one another.

Memories that no longer match reality.

Warnings apparently written for events that haven't happened yet.

And evidence that the past may not be nearly as fixed as everyone believes.

The closer Sophie and Daniel become, the more dangerous the questions become. Because changing history doesn't simply alter what happened.

It changes who remembers it.

And somewhere inside Blackthorn House lies a truth that has been waiting far longer than either of them realises.

BEFORE WE MET is an atmospheric psychological mystery blending romance, suspense and the impossible, a story about memory, identity, fate and what happens when two people discover that their relationship may have begun long before they ever met.

Perfect for readers who love haunting mysteries, time-bending suspense, impossible connections, old houses hiding buried secrets and love stories where nothing is quite what it first appears to be.
