Larry A. Maxwell is an award-winning journalist and author of numerous books and articles. He brings his unique perspective to this book. His grew up around the studios of a major network, where his father, was one of the pioneers. He worked for the media on both the local and national level. He has met with world leaders and was involved in presidential elections for more than 40 years. He became politically active during High School, where he worked with the campaign to elect Sen. Edmund Muskie as the nominee for President for the Democratic Party. He then helped with numerous other campaigns over the next 40 years. He graduated from Liberty University. He was involved when his pastor, Dr. Jerry Falwell, formed Moral Majority, a coalition of Christian, Catholic and Jewish leaders, along with Family Organizations and Conservative groups. He was the Founder and President of Habitat for Humanity of Putnam County, New York. President of The Hudson Valley Trust, which helps promote and protect the agricultural, architectural and historical resources of the Hudson Valley. He has served a number of years as a member of the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Program, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is a first responder with the Patterson Fire Department in Patterson, N.Y. His writing career started as the literary editor for his award-winning high school yearbook. He later became a journalist and photographer for The Times of Ti, The Glens Falls Post Star and the United Press International (UPI). The Associated Press honored his journalism, from among all reporters in the United States, with its First Place Writing Award.
