Shari W. Quinn, NBC's Albany affiliate WNYT Today's Woman, is a native of Albany, NY. After living in suburban Atlanta for eight years, she relocated back to New York's Capital Region. She is a leader in education, a college instructor, and has been in higher education for 17 years. She has served as a guest speaker in over 75 high schools throughout New York State. After aspiring to become a published author, Shari challenged herself to embark on the journey of fiction writing. She is the author of 4 books: Disloyalty, 42 Strategies to Market Your Book: An Author's Guide; the Art of Book Writing and co-author of the cookbook, Taste! She earned her Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in Atlanta; Bachelor's (B.S.) in Marketing and Management from Siena College in Loudonville, NY; and an Associate's (A.S.) in Liberal Arts from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. She has completed more than two years towards her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Education with Northeastern University in Boston. Shari is the proud mother of three children, Sharia, Ruffus "Pop" IV, and Malik; two grandchildren, DeShari'ay and Anthony Jr., and lives in upstate New York.
