Being Human Now (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781731114730)

"Millions of people are sitting at home, saying I just can't fix this world alone..." - Malu WilderBeing Human Now presents the idea that true spirituality is intensely personal, and in many ways radical. In today's day and age, most systems of formalized religion and social hierarchy have proven to be corrupt and untrustworthy at best. BHN puts forth the vision that we can collectively reclaim our own personal power and spirituality, while building a more equal and sustainable future. Through the act of standing up within ourselves, we can find the strength to truly help this world evolve. Author Malu Wilder, founder of The Mindfulness Initiative, has been a practicing meditator since childhood. He has spent his life studying the Buddhist meditation and mindfulness practices of India, Tibet, Japan and China. In the book, Malu shares meditation practices and active mindfulness exercises that have largely remained hidden from the public view until now. The path of Gentle Bravery is presented as a way forward, through direct, genuine and peaceful action. The author's hope is to provide these techniques as tools to help us all evolve, while actively creating the world we want to live in.
