Barry Bauska is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Puget Sound where, for 34 years, he taught courses in American Literature and Creative Writing. He was Chairman of the English Department for several years, and co-founded the university's Creative Writing and Freshman Orientation programs He and his wife, Susan, live in Tacoma, Washington.
