K Wendt has been writing since she was in high school, staring with lyrics and poems. In the Spring of 2013, the idea for her first children's book came to her, and she had to see it through, especially when her son, Monte agreed to illustrate it. Since then, Wendt has been inspired to chase her desire to write, and will finish her adult novel soon.
