The screw-up, the perfectionist, the failure, and the one who abandoned them all; the murder fifteen years ago tore them apart, and if they don't put their differences aside, one of them will die. Fans of Lucy Foley and Alice Feeney will love this dark and twisted small town thriller full of secrets, family trauma, and unhinged rage.

Fifteen years after she ran away, Holly Dawson returns to the small town of Oakville, OH to help her ailing mother. When she finds evidence the serial killer who murdered her cousin is still alive, she vows to find the real killer before they strike again. Matthew Davis, teenage screw-up turned cop, has to hide a decades-long secret that would destroy his life and keep the lust he feels for Holly, his high school sweetheart, under control. Michelle Davis begins a dangerous spiral the moment she sees her childhood tormentor is back in town. To keep the life and marriage she so carefully cultivated, she devises ways to get rid of her old enemy for good. Katie Reed was in love with Holly in high school but never told her best friend the truth. She's failed in the past, but now, she's going to make sure she gets Holly's full attention. When a blizzard isolates the town, the serial killer strikes again, and this time, no one is safe.

Four friends: three stayed behind, two are killers, and one won't make it out alive.
