Sabrina K. Carpenter, a professional freelance writer and founder of Perfected Pen, has been a published author since she was a child. While Perfected Pen focuses on business writing, Sabrina created a publishing division, Perfected Pen Publishing, to promote the creative angle of her writing and to offer new authors a stress-free opportunity to publish their manuscripts. Sabrina's passion for poetry began at a very young age and her talent was recognized frequently as years passed. In 1996, as a sophomore in high school, she was accepted into Wesleyan University's Center for Creative Youth program with a full scholarship. Sabrina worked with notable authors and poets and made her debut as a slam poet in spoken word competitions. Poetry continues to be a delight for this versatile writer. Sabrina is originally from Connecticut and currently resides in Vero Beach, Florida.
