Beware the Dragon (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781548440633)

Will Australia's nightmare never end? Australia's sovereignty in the North West is first challenged by Indonesia with the support of the traditional landowners, the indigenous Australians. But when Indonesia's actions disturb the status quo, China threatens to use its own military forces to ensure the security of China's vast portfolio of investments in Australia. In a flawed strategy reminiscent of the disastrous importing of cane toads to control the cane beetle in Queensland in the 1930s ... Australia contemplates the unbelievable ... allowing Chinese troops to enter Australia in order to control the actions of Indonesians in Australia. Belatedly becoming aware that China may have its own grand designs in northern Australia, the Australian government seeks to convince the United States to come to their aid. It is the last roll of the dice ... and it must succeed if Australia is to retain its autonomy.
